Call for Nominations: 13th Annual Los Angeles Healthcare Awards

The FutureMedLA Foundation, in proud partnership with the Los Angeles County Medical Association (LACMA), is now accepting nominations for the 13th Annual Los Angeles Healthcare Awards, taking place on Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

This signature event advances FutureMedLA’s mission to support and elevate the next generation of physician leaders while driving innovation, equity, and access to care across Los Angeles County. Each year, the Awards shine a spotlight on the individuals and organizations transforming healthcare—and inspire continued investment in the future of medicine.

Recognizing Leadership, Innovation, and Impact

The Los Angeles Healthcare Awards celebrate excellence across a diverse set of categories, spotlighting leaders whose work is driving meaningful change:

• Healthcare Visionary of the Year

  Honors a trailblazing leader or institution whose bold vision and lasting contributions are shaping the future of healthcare in Los Angeles.

• Physician Changemaker Award (Individual)

  Recognizes a physician whose leadership extends beyond clinical care to drive innovation, advocacy, and improved patient outcomes.

• Innovation in Healthcare Solutions (Organization)

  Celebrates organizations leveraging technology, data, and new models of care to expand access, improve quality, and deliver measurable impact.

• Community Impact Award (Individual or Organization)

  Honors those advancing health equity through community-centered solutions that improve access and outcomes in underserved populations.

• Shine the Light Media Award (Individual, Organization, or Campaign)

  Recognizes powerful storytelling and communications that raise awareness of critical health issues and influence public understanding.

• Health Advocacy Champion Award (Individual)

  Honors a non-physician leader whose work has driven meaningful progress in healthcare policy, access, and equity.

Nomination Guidelines

• Open to all: You may nominate yourself or others

• Local impact required: Nominees must serve or demonstrate impact within Los Angeles County

• Multiple submissions allowed: Separate forms must be completed for each category

• No cost to participate: There is no fee or financial obligation to submit a nomination or be nominated

Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Sunday, June 28, 2026

Tickets for the Gala are now available. The Los Angeles Healthcare Awards convene leaders from across healthcare, business, media, and community organizations for an evening that celebrates achievement and fuels what comes next. Proceeds from the Gala directly support FutureMedLA’s scholarship programs and initiatives that strengthen the physician pipeline and expand access to care.
