LACMA has partnered with UCLA Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture (CESLAC) to formally kick off the “Accelerating Latinx Leadership (ALL) Institute” to develop Latinx Physician and health professional leadership and ready them to guide California’s health sector institutions to positively engage with Latinx communities and California’s multi-racial future.
The mission of the ALL Institute is to develop Latinx Physician and health professional leadership and ready them to guide California’s health sector institutions to positively engage with Latinx communities and California’s multi-racial future.
By optimizing the leadership ability of Latinx physicians and health professionals, the ALL Institute will empower them to design and lead health equity initiatives that address the social and structural determinants of health contributing to health care disparities by tapping into their lived experiences of these.
The CESLAC ALL Institute is a four-month experience (3 days on-site at UCLA, four months online) tailored to individuals to meet the challenges unique to Latinx Leaders, particularly in the health sector. The institute provides substantive information that the health sector is often unaware of, which is critical to formulating a strategic vision for 21st-century America.
The program launches April 24; with in-person sessions May 19th - 21st and Phase 4 concluding July 31st. View the program description HERE and you can contact ceslac_all@mednet.ucla.edu for more information.
