L.A. County Hospitals Recognized Among America’s Best Maternity Care Facilities for 2025

Updated: 11 hours ago

In Newsweek’s highly anticipated 2025 list of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals, several Los Angeles County institutions have earned national recognition for their outstanding care and commitment to maternal and newborn health.

The annual ranking—developed in collaboration with global data firm Statista—evaluates hospitals based on key quality metrics, patient satisfaction surveys, and recommendations from medical professionals across the country. The list serves as a trusted guide for expectant parents seeking exceptional care during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

This year, LACMA physicians are once again well-represented, with many hospitals from LACMA member groups including multiple Kaiser Permanente, Providence, and UCLA Health facilities making the cut.

These hospitals were celebrated for their commitment to best practices in maternity care, including low rates of unnecessary cesarean sections, strong breastfeeding support, and comprehensive postpartum care services.

As Los Angeles County continues to lead in healthcare innovation and access, these recognitions reflect the tireless efforts of frontline staff, physicians, and healthcare administrators working to ensure safe and compassionate care for mothers and newborns alike.
