Mark Lane, Director of Publications and Resources in the CMA’s Center for Economic Services, began his career as a claims processor for plans such as Blue Shield of California and Health Net. Over the next 23 years, Mark rose steadily through the healthcare ranks to fulfill leadership roles in claim operations, customer service, provider relations and contracting allowing him to gain a unique vantage point on the relationship between physicians and payors.
